Our Wedding Butterflies

DO NOT BUY BUTTERFLIES FROM WWW.AMAZINGBUTTERFLIES.COM!!

We had ordered 3 dozen butterflies from www.amazingbutterflies.com. We were going to release them instead of throwing rice. They were supposed to show up Friday before the wedding. Friday at the rehearsal they still hadn't arrived. So I tried calling them but there was no one there, so I left a few messages. I really had my heart set on releasing butterflies. We had planned the invites, programs, waterbottles, and decorations around these butterflies. Saturday Morning I still hadn't heard anything from them. I tried calling multiple times that day and the week after the wedding. I did finally get to talk to a couple customer service people, but they couldn't tell me anything. They kept saying they would do more research and call me right back. I never did get a call back from Amazingbutterflies.com. Finally when I got back from our honeymoon I called again to at least get my money back. I talked to the manager who was extremely rude and informed me he had refunded my money yesterday and then he hung up on me. I never got an apology or explanation as to why they didn't show up. So a word of advice DON'T BUY BUTTERFLIES FROM AMAZINGBUTTERFLIES.COM!!!!!

But the good side of my story is that I have the best friends, family, and husband in the world. A bunch of people got up Saturday morning while I was getting my hair done and ran around the hayfield and caught me 13 butterflies. When they pulled into the field they thought they would have hundreds to release, but an hour later they hadn't caught one. I guess butterflies are faster than they look. But they did end up with 13 beautiful butterflies that we released. It turned out to be more special in the end this way than having them show up in the mail.
